Frequently Asked Questions

What time do you do lessons?

We try to tailor to individual time constraints, of both the learner driver and the instructor.

Our on road hours are flexible, but we do try to keep them to between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. Monday to Thursday and 7a.m. till 4p.m. Friday.

Weekends appointments are limited depending on instructor availability.

These hours are only a guide, and may vary without any notification.

What's the best time to do my lesson?

The best time for lessons will depend on you.

Take into consideration the time of day or night, traffic volumes, roads you will feel comfortable with, and the experiences you've had.

How many lessons will I need or do I have to have prior to my test?

There are no set number of lessons required before you go for your licence test.  It comes down to how well you know the Vicroads Criteria, and the Road Laws.

The number of lessons required will vary for each person.  If you are not sure, do one lesson and let us do an assessment on your driving, and work out an action plan towards your test.

Will I get a particular Instructor if I ask?

If you have a particular Instructor you would prefer to have for your lessons, we will work together to enable you to have the person you have requested.

We have Male and Female Instructors, and all attempts will be made to cater for your needs.  Once you have been paired with an Instructor, you will remain with that Instructor, unless there is a need to pair you with someone else.

However, there may be times when an Instructor may be unavailable, and another Instructor will be sourced.

Can I pay off my Lessons?

All payments are to be made prior the start of each lesson.

Payment options for larger packages are offered, and must be paid in accordance with the terms and conditions explained at the time of quoting.

Failure to comply with any agreement, may forfeit further lessons.

What if I have an issue with an Instructor?

If you have any concerns about your instructor, then you can discuss directly with the instructor to try and resolve the issue, alternatively you can e-mail or phone Boost 2 Drive to discuss your concerns.  If needed we can arrange another Instructor.

If the issue does not get resolved, then there are processes in place to take your matter to the Taxi Services Comission and have them investigate the matter and resolve.

Copies of the process can be obtained from Vicroads Customer Service Centres, or by phoning the Taxi Services Comission on (03) 9676 2635
